36 Inch Rising Stem Risilient Seated Double Expanding Gate Valve
The rising stem elastic seat double expansion OS&Y gate valve is a valve used to regulate or cut off the flow of liquid or gas in the pipeline. The valve is equipped with a rising stem that moves up and down when the valve is opened or closed, a resilient seat design that ensures a tight seal, and a double expansion gate that fits snugly against the body to prevent leakage. OS&Y stands for outside screw and yoke, which means that the valve stem is located outside the valve body and is connected to a yoke mechanism. This design facilitates maintenance and repair of the valve. Dual expansion refers to the shape of the gate, which expands outward in both directions as it is lowered into the valve body, creating a tight seal against the seat. This design is especially effective for preventing leaks in high pressure applications.
