Water Control Safety Pressure Relief Valves are designed to automatically relieve excess pressure in water systems to protect them from catastrophic failure. These valves are usually installed on the discharge side of the pump to prevent overpressure conditions that could damage the pump or other components of the water system. They work by opening when the pressure inside the system exceeds a preset limit, allowing fluid to escape and reducing the pressure to a safe level.
